What is Mid-Century Modern furniture?
Mid-Century Modern (MCM) is a design movement from roughly 1945–1969 characterized by clean lines, organic curves, minimal ornamentation, and a focus on function over excess. At Woodies ON Woodlawn, we curate furniture and décor that captures this era — Space Age forms, Palm Springs warmth, walnut and brass, sputnik silhouettes. All of it designed to make a room feel intentional rather than assembled.
What's the difference between Mid-Century Modern and Art Deco?
Art Deco (1920s-1930s) features bold geometric patterns, rich colors, and luxurious materials like gold and marble. Mid-Century Modern (1945-1969) emphasizes simplicity, natural materials, and functional design. Our collection bridges both eras, featuring pieces that blend MCM minimalism with Art Deco elegance.

Do you accept returns?
Our returns policy covers items that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect. If your order qualifies, email support@woodiesonwoodlawn.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos — we'll resolve it at no cost to you.
Because our pieces are curated and fulfilled to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind, size preference, or style changes once processing has begun. We strongly recommend confirming measurements and finishes before purchasing.
Are these design-forward pieces or just trend furniture?
Entirely design-forward. Every piece in our collection is sourced because it captures a specific aesthetic — 1950s Space Age, Palm Springs MCM, Atomic Era California. We're not chasing generic trends or filling a warehouse. We curate for character: tapered walnut legs, brass hardware, jewel-tone velvet, marble surfaces, sculptural forms. If it could live in an Eichler home or a Rat Pack living room, it earns a place here. If it looks like a hotel lobby or a Pinterest board for rental furniture, it doesn't.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery takes 7–15 business days after processing. Total estimated arrival is approximately 2 weeks. You will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking once your order is on its way.
