Preserving the Walnut Grain

American Black Walnut is the backbone of the Woodlawn collection. Known for its strength and intricate grain patterns, it requires a disciplined care routine to maintain its cinematic depth.

  • Surface Hydration: Apply a high-quality furniture oil or wax every 6 months to prevent the wood from drying in architectural environments with heavy HVAC use.
  • Light Control: While our walnut is UV-treated, prolonged exposure to direct desert sunlight can alter the patina. We recommend rotating pieces seasonally.
  • Cleaning Protocol: Use only a lint-free ivory cloth. Avoid multi-purpose sprays that contain silicones or ammonia, as they break down the natural oils.

The Boutique Dispatch Standard

Logistics for high-fidelity furniture requires more than just transport. We manage the entire chain of custody to ensure every piece in The Gallery is delivered with the same intention it was selected.

  • Material Inspection: Before any dispatch, our partners perform a tactile and visual check of all metal joints, leather tension, and wood grain integrity.
  • White-Glove Staging: Your piece isn't just delivered to your doorstep. Our specialists can provide internal placement and staging to ensure your room rhythm is maintained.
  • Real-Time Monitoring: Every selection is tracked via our Curator Portal, providing map-view updates and direct communication with our logistics hub.
